Good evening ladies,
These past couple of days I had the immense pleasure and privilege of attending the Fun Stamper's Journey 2017 annual convention. To say that I was a bit overwhelmed is definitely an understatement. Every person I interacted with was so kind. The journey crew and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I met cyber friends face to face for the first time and made countless new friends. I am grateful for Richard Garay's generosity, commitment, and enthusiasm. I have so many memories that I will always treasure.

As part of my convention experience, I decided to participate in a mixed media swap. Tonight's card is the card I submitted. It is definitely outside my comfort zone, but I decided to give it a go.
I initially stamped the background with the Vintage Notes background Stamp (SS-0303). I then used all the smaller stamps in the Bad Bones stamp set (SS-0336) using a slightly darker color ink, River Stone (IP-0063) I then distressed the entire border of the card using Bubble Gum Ink (IP-0058). The skull was embossed with white embossing powder and I added Black Journey Twine (AC-0004) behind the skull. To add a little sparkle and pizazz, I sprinkled clear silk over the front of the card.
I love the finished look! Thank you so much for stopping by. I will be posting some of the other cards I made for swaps for the convention.
Have a wonderful evening!
Angie
