Beautiful

I love, love, love this butterfly stamp. Ok, I have a thing for butterflies - they're magical. For this card I use the vertical Z fold for the base. I wanted to create a dramatic look so I chose a black and white background to really make the colors of the butterfly pop. The butterfly was colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol makers, and I added a little bit of sparkle dust for pizazz.

A Bit of Drama

It has certainly been quite some time since I have posted anything on my blog. I have been dealing with several health issues, which thankfully have resolved, but now I'm getting back into the swing of things. Today, I would like to share a project I concocted last night.

I really love the way this card turned out. I especially like the contrasts between the black and white background and the beautiful pink flower as the focal point.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Little Mixed Media

Today's card is a little bit of everything. I used watercolor paper, bronze silk, gesso, and a stencil to create the background. The beautiful flowers were colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. Finally, I wanted to use an interesting fold technique for the card base. I intend to write s tutorial for this card and will post it sometime next week.
